KUZNETSOF CLASS CARRIER The Kuznetsov-class aircraft carrier was the last class of aircraft carrier commissioned into the Soviet Navy. The design represented a major advance in Soviet fleet aviation over the Kiev-class carriers, which could only launch VSTOL aircraft.
